Ty hops on top of the mech and searches his boot for some spare serum. "Aha!" He shouts, finding an extra vial, which he places in his gauntlet.

You do that You get a move on, further between the mountains, whilst the flammable liquid drips down, both risking to cut off your return and being a large beacon to the airship. Hoping that the best trail you've got does not lead to a dead end, you press onwards.

Deeper into the chasm, with the mech's lights guiding up, you seem to find a very large mechanical platform of some sort, it seems like it could be brought to move down, though you're not entirely sure.

Around you, there is a lot of scrap metal, pieces of old vehicles and smaller mechs, perhaps some sort of control panel would be buried beneath all this junk?

"Don't worry guys, let me use the mech to clear away the junk."

MM uses the mech to clear away the scrap metal.

As MM clears away most of the scrap metal, Arc gets an idea.

"J, if I remember correctly you've got a bit of magnetic capabilty under your belt right? There's a lot of metal around here, see if you can sift through them and find something that resonates with the alloy up ahead. We're not so sure it'll work though, so we'll try and see if we can get it moving anyway"

Ty looks at where the platform seems to go. "Couldn't we all just use the mech to fly across?"

Jay attempts to use his bluluhblahblubluhblah

Jay nods, and focuses his gauntlets on the scrap metals, seeing if he can get a strong feeling or sense of anything strong enough to get a potential match to the controls, or at least something to help them progress.

Moving the mech around the platform to attempt to clean the mess, you realize the platform starting to give hold and creaking at every step from the steel Goliath.

Maybe it wasn't made to hold such a weight after all those years.

With a metallic snap, the platform gives, dropping you all through a hole leading inside the islet. Thankfully, the fall doesn't take long (with only a slight warning on the mech's main screen over the joint stress), and you're quickly presented with... a very open, seemingly abandoned command cented, light faintly flashing from monitors that seem comparably old compared to the tech of the organization you've been facing.

From your position, you can see at least 20 rows of computer tables, only like a tenth of the electronics funcioning. There's a main screen on the other side of this spacious room, but it looks definitely out of order.
