[2>3] EMERGENCY!

Another day passed. It seemed that the "Heroes of Azgard" wouldn't have to concern themselves with demon exterminating today. That is, until dusk crept up.


Sent to Vriz, Ty, MM, Araphen, Arcane:

EMERGENCY!

All of you! Report to the castle immediately!

(Go to the castle's entrance. A group of Hero soldiers will be waiting for you.)

Ty had been sleeping, so he didn't get his Hyperlink message until two hours after it had been sent. Seeing the message, he rushed to the castle.

MM was just checking out of the infirmary when he got the message. He quickly ran downstairs to the armory and handed the Quater-master a piece of paper.

"Think you could do it within 5 minutes?"

"Uh... are you joking?"

"Of course. Get it done when you can. But for now I believe there should be a replacement order for MM?"

"Of course. I was just about to get that for you." He bent down and put on a table a large box. Inside was a blue/black compound bow, a set of blue/black arrows shaft/tips, and four blue/black quivers with lids.

"Does this work?"

"Lids for the quivers. Why didn't I think about that forever ago?" MM picked up the bow and shrugged. It was fine for the time being.

"It does for now. I have no time to be picky. Thanks! Let me know when you get that done." MM pointed to the paper when he said "that", put everything back into the case, and headed off to suit up.

Arc was out with Phen, and her eyes went over all the wonderful new food this place had to offer. "Oh sweet lord" she muttered to herself as she paid.

She was about to help herself to some kind of hotdog, when the hyperlink flashed and beeped. She took a huge bite of her food, and sped up to Phen. She called his attention to the message on the hyperlink and gestured the direction of the castle, unable to speak as she was eating.

Whilst there was food to be had, Phen's attention had been centered towards his weapon since they returned. He was given permission to tinker with it, something to the reasoning that it was a mass-produced weapon, some customization wouldn't hurt, especially when magic was turning less and less of an option.

He'd spent most of the day adjusting the weapon to his liking: fixing the allignment to match his left-handedness, allow a secondary battery to work together with the first, and trying to make the software recognize a 'repairing module' he was given by the staff. Most of them being small hardware fixes that still seemed intuitive, but the attempt to tinker with the software failed.

A bit frustrated, he joined Arc in her quest for food to put his mind at rest for a while, but it did not take long for that to be interrupted by a signal in their hyperlinks.

"I saw." He replied to Arc. "Let's go."

“Legends!” A soldier called out. “Hold on, where is…ah forget it. Here’s the situation. One of your friends…Jay, if I remember correctly. He said he wanted to go reunite with you four. I was driving him. And, well, since it was on the way, we ended up checking out the castle. When we were in the throne room…he said something was calling to him…something in some pile of rubble. He found…soul gems. Next second he’s screaming, the gems glow like crazy...when it stops...when it stops...”

“You all should probably enter now. Before it gets too dark.” Another soldier says. “I’ll open a spot in the barrier. Come.”
