[2.2] Arcaphen strikes back

The next day, Arc, Araphen and Ty were assigned to the sea, something about two demons needing to be taken care of there. The boats were mentioned to be sturdy, as a respite, but they were told to not be surprised if they broke.

Going their separate ways after a while, it took a while for the two in the larger boat to find their target, but there it was: Near its nest, a reef-island not too far from the coast, the shark-like demon made its presence known to the invaders by roughly bumping their boat --no damage so far, but things were sure to get heated--.

As the beast lunges against their boat, barely scathing it, Arc uncoils her two weapons and lashes at it like a whip.

As Arc sees the beast raise it jaws and swim fast at them, Arc runs for the boat's navigation and makes a sharp turn, and the beast misses them completely.

She leaps off the port and lashes at the beast, using one of her weapons as a whip to pull her back onto the boat.

Arc could see the beast's intent a mile away, and repeated the maneuver making the beast clumsily fall aside.

This time leaping off the starboard, she repeats the motion of a charged slash while pulling herself back onto the boat.
